The Consortium of Institutes on Family in the Asian Region (CIFA), the Singapore Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), and the National University of Singapore Social Work Department are co-hosting the CIFA Regional Symposium & MSF Asian Family Conference 2022 on 8 to 10 November 2022.

The conference aims to further the policy-research-practice nexus on Asian Families by providing a platform for policymakers, researchers and practitioners from Asia to come together to dialogue and exchange knowledge on strengthening Asian families.

Prof Shek will be sharing on how family resilience protects family well-being from the negative impact of COVID-19 stressors. While macro policies to meet the challenges under COVID-19 are valuable, Prof Shek will share how building up family resilience can help to empower families.
